Intro of case
Client came with an old Wix website and a ThemeForest idea. I analyzed the requested theme and found it paid + slow. I recommended Envato Elements kits instead (faster setup, better performance), helped select a suitable kit, and rebuilt the site on WordPress + Elementor.
- Move from Wix to a fast, modern WordPress stack.
- Keep budget low while improving speed and UX.
- Restore broken business email after DNS changes.

Work challenges
Original ThemeForest choice had poor performance.
Client initially buying WordPress.com hosting (not ideal for needs).
Domain on GoDaddy, nameservers on Wix-email stopped working.

Main result
I guided the client through selecting the right Envato Elements kit by sharing multiple options and giving a clear recommendation based on their goals. For hosting, I advised against WordPress.com for this type of project and suggested better-performing alternatives like Hostinger or SiteGround, with the client ultimately choosing Hostinger. I then handled the full build process by installing WordPress, setting up Elementor, importing the selected kit, and customizing it to match the client’s branding, services, and content.
During migration, I updated GoDaddy nameservers from Wix to Hostinger and configured the required MX and CNAME records to restore their business email. I also optimized the website by compressing images, improving Core Web Vitals fundamentals, and ensuring full mobile responsiveness. The entire project was completed within 8 hours, delivering a production-ready website while staying within the client’s limited budget.
