Migrated a static Wix-based Caribbean events site to a fully dynamic WordPress platform by exporting and restructuring news content into organized categories focused on Jamaican events and artists. Implemented a complete ticketing system using The Events Calendar Pro with Stripe, resolving issues with guest checkout and email notifications to ensure a smooth user experience. Built a custom subscription popup using Hostinger Reach and manually imported over 900 users to retain the existing audience base.
Handled multiple custom fixes including social sharing integrations (Facebook and Instagram), mobile responsiveness, and script-level issues using CSS and JavaScript. Conducted live testing sessions covering ticket purchases, email resends, and attendee management, followed by launch support including DNS propagation troubleshooting. The final result was a fast, SEO-optimized WordPress events hub, fully prepared for large-scale events like the Jamaica Strong Benefit Concert.
